Boogie Shoes.

Last night at the beginning of Zumba, Shalen (favorite Zumba instructor #4!) was walking us through a fairly new salsa routine that has been tripping a lot of people up (literally). She was slowing it down and breaking it up bit by bit to help everyone get it. Mom and I were standing in our usual spots, toward the center of the group a few rows back from the front.

After doing it a few times she goes, “Everybody got it?  Sarah’s got it back there, in her fancy turquoise shoes!” And then gave me a thumbs up.

Cue everyone turning around to look at me, but mostly at my shoes. Cue INTENSE BLUSHING. LOL

I loved that she remembered my name, though, since we’ve only really spoken a couple of times and we don’t see her nearly as often as the instructors on our side of town. Made me feel really special. :)
